Sooki

This is Sooki, my daughter Kait's dog.

Sooki is a Red-nose Pitbull.

Sooki is a very different dog from Trey.  While Trey is rugged, energetic and durable, Sooki is big cuddly suck who hates getting up in the morning and never wants to go outside if it's raining.  

Her fur is thin and short so she needs a really good winter coat.

Kait bought Sooki less than a week after we moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia to save Trey from the Breed Specific Legislation* there.

Look how tiny she was.  Her head was too big for her little body, 

AND she had blue eyes !

I love this photo of Kait with Sooki.

Doesn't Sook look rugged in this photo ?  In reality, rugged is never a word I'd use to describe her.

Kait works as a groomer and takes Sooki to work with her every day,

where she loves to curl up in anything small and cozy.

 I know what you're thinking.  Yep, that's a pitbull and a teeny, tiny puppy.  

Don't worry.

  Kait would never let the puppy hurt Sooki.

One of the only things that excites her, is a Squirrel scolding her from the top of a tree.

Other than that, she has pretty much perfected the art of relaxing.

Shhhhh.

* Pitbull "type" dogs are banned in Ontario.  They can be seized and destroyed, simply for existing.
