1976 - In November 1976, Eric Clapton did a short tour of the US, hitting 13 cities between the 5th and 22nd of the month.  One reason for the tour was to promote his recently released album, No Reason To Cry.  The set list for this tour featured several songs from the new disc, including Hello Old Friend, All Our Past Times Sign Language, and Double Trouble.  EC also had a second reason for being in the states that month. On November 26, he appeared at The Band's farewell concert, The Last Waltz, where he played a blistering version of Further On Up The Road.  This soundboard captures Eric on the 3rd night of the tour, November 7, 1976, 37 years ago today, in Jacksonville, FL.  And, since this is our 1st anniversary month at So Many Roads, you not only get that show, you get a bonus.  The Jacksonville concert appeared on a bootleg called Cowboy Here and There (see artwork below) that also included a soundboard recording of the July 29, 1976 show from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, on the first night of his United Kingdom tour.  So with this post you get not 1 but 2 chances to download and enjoy Slowhand!
