A year has passed since this German Count formally opened this modern diary about silent cinema… and other aristocratic subjects.
More than 5,000 longhaired silent fans have read, commented, pleased and hated Herr Graf’s comments about those beautiful and unfortunately unknown nitrates. For all those people this German Count raises his eyebrow (a very complicated exercise if he want to keep his monocle on elegantly…) in gratitude for their interest and patience. He is looking forward to another year of magnificent silent films (and other thrilling Teutonic subjects) to comment on and to sharing with all of you the aristocratic film archives located his humid and dark Schloss cellar.

Ya ha transcurrido un año desde que éste Conde germánico inaugurase este diario moderno sobre el cinema silente y otros asuntos aristocráticos.
Más de 5.000 melenudos admiradores del cinema silente han leído, comentado, gustado y odiado los comentarios de éste Herr Graf acerca de esos bellos y desafortunadamente, desconocidos nitratos. Para toda esa gente, éste Conde germánico levanta la ceja ( un complicado ejercicio si se quiere seguir manteniendo el monóculo de forma elegante... ) en señal de gratitud por su interés y paciencia, ansiando otro año más de magníficos filmes mudos ( y otros emocionantes asuntos teutones ) y así continuar comentando y compartiendo con todos ustedes los archivos de los filmes aristocráticos ubicados en el sótano húmedo y tenebroso del Schloss.
